Drip

It’s always a delight to see a Great Northern Diver in Brixham harbour. What I’d really like to see is one of the Black-Throated Divers or the Red-Throated Divers which frequent these waters. So far, no luck at all. Perhaps I should try harder?

In the meantime, here’s a mid-air drip which caught my fancy.

What a fine bird and what a great lump on its head. I’d love to understand its function. Anyone?
