Yes, I’m still here, waiting

More than a leaf or three have headed down the River Tone as I’ve sat here awaiting the arrival of a Kingfisher to the perch I’ve been staking out thanks to the help of my friend Martin.

It’s a young Kingfisher I’ve been awaiting. It has been to perch in a nearby tree three times in the last two hours and chosen five different perches on this beautiful fallen Willow. All of them have been behind leaves or branches. None of my photographs have been usable.
