Fluttering parachute display
I spent an hour last week searching for the Tree Pipit on Yarner Heath.
I’ve seen it there before, and photographed it in mid-display as it fluttered down slowly like a parachute. The light wasn’t good, so I’d like another chance for some better images. Here’s where it was perched:
It’s not there again today, so we wander across to Trendlebere Down and I can see one displaying in the distance. Lovely, aren’t they?

And I still don’t get a decent photograph of its display flight.
