Urban Corvids
We’re got three species of corvids in this London park.
Firstly, there’s the robust Carrion Crows, with their large beaks festooned with stiff, bristle-like feathers:

There are the more slightly-built Jackdaws, with their pale eyes and soft grey napes:
And there are the pied Magpies, who match the other two in their love for whole peanuts in their shells.

It’s a good hour’s entertainment to spend time with them.
