A Shag in the harbour

Shag, Brixham - The Hall of Einar - photograph (c) David Bailey (not the)

Shags are a form of Cormorant found around our coasts. They are smaller than the Common Cormorant we get across the country. They have a yellow gape, green eyes and glossy plumage.

I find them endlessly entertaining to watch, as they dive and I try to anticipate where they will surface next. This time, I got it right.
