Gadwall

Duck identification isn’t my specialist subject for Mastermind. So when this handsome chap flies past I have to resort to Professor Google, who knows all things. It’s a Gadwall, a beautiful dabbling duck.

It’s one of the most beautifully subtle of ducks. Look at the softness of that brown and the intensity of that body pattern.

Superb. That’s now one extra duck I know.
