Crows are some of the most observant and attentive of birds. They are quick to calculate the opportunities and find avoiding dangers first-nature.
I love seeing them fly around me. They’ve been busy mobbing a Buzzard which flew wearily over, pursued by its retinue of harassers, they’ve been quick to call and swoop at a Sparrowhawk and in between they’ve made the local Common Kestrels’ lives a misery.

In the evening we saw over 300 of them roosting on this ‘waste’ land.

I love their company.
