Little Egret on a wire

This Little Egret is standing on one yellow foot and giving me the eye. A yellow eye.

When it does try the two-legged approach it adopts a wide stance, as if it’s been taught to stand there like a triumphant politician.

As it moves its weight from one foot to another, it looks a little shifty to me.
