Wall Lizard

I love the look on this Italian Wall Lizard’s face.

I appear to have interrupted its sunbathing. It’s November but it’s 18 degrees Celsius here in Rome. That’s warm, but there’s still a need to top-up the temperature if you’re cold-blooded, especially after a cool night. Soon it will slide off to hunt.

For now, it’s just going to top-up and I’m going to leave it in peace.
