Jump-on-a-Pole

There’s a Saltimpalo in this area of greenery in Rome. That’s the Italian name for the Stonechat. Saltimpalo means Jump-on-a-Pole, which Stonechats do, as well as chatting like two stones being banged together.

I enjoyed finding the background for this image by slowly circling the Stonechat until the painted trattoria behind it was perfectly lined up.
