10 grammes of warbling attitude
There’s a Willow Warbler giving it everything it’s got on Yarner Heath. Look at that little mouth, so wide open:
I love seeing them here in the summer. It was a delight to photograph them and compare notes with my childhood nature notebooks in 2018:
And seeing them at Emsworthy Mire was wonderful too. Their descending trill is a thrill.
I’m looking forward to seeing beak-fulls of caterpillars, to fill hungry mouths, arriving very soon.
