When you’re not happy with something
Here are some photographs of a male Reed Bunting.

I really dislike them. The photographs, that is, not Reed Buntings.

The bird is great, apart from the ironwork on its leg which reduces the natural feel. Here it is with drooped wings, sunning itself.

The poses are fine too. And the light’s beautiful. I just don’t like them. Sometimes that happens. There’s just not enough depth of field and despite the head being in perfect focus, the feet aren’t. There’s no excuse for it. I just took bad photographs. It’s best that I just admit it.
There’s only one thing I can do.
Go back and do it all over again until I get them right.
Watch this space.
