Diving Shag
There’s a Shag on the River Teign. It’s working its way upstream.

I have to walk briskly to the next position I think it’ll break the water and crouch. I’m hoping that it’ll come up with a decent sized fish.
It doesn’t.

It keeps trying and I think I see it swallow a couple of small fish.
It’s clearly a powerful swimmer underwater. In the calmer parts of the River I can see where it is under the water.

Then it works its way far more quickly downstream and is gone.
