Coot kerfuffle

I’m looking up a tree when there’s a bit of a kerfuffle on the lake. Coots are deeply territorial birds. Or terror-torial. Look at them go:

One’s got a little close to the defended patch of water of another.

It’s a serious business, home invasion. And it was clearly self-defence.
