Dartmoor birds
A lockdown lifetime ago we went to Dartmoor for a walk. I say ‘a walk’, but it was more an amble from the car park and a toddle back to the car.
In the car park were agile Jackdaws, ready for any opportunity.

I didn’t get great views:

The sheep seemed a little hot in their winter pyjamas:

I love Dartmoor and it’s a great shame it’s been destroyed by humans:
A special thrill was to see a distant Mistle Thrush on a granite outcrop:

Then I spotted a Pied Wagtail.

What a smart bird.

I’m looking forward to getting back there.
