I’m walking through the woods when I see Chestnut leaves. There’s also a fresh empty burr.

Where did the chestnuts go?

Here are the remains of one:

Something’s been nibbling it. I don’t know what, but I have my suspicions.

Thankfully there are some left.

They are a little spiky.

But delicious.

And not just for Squirrels.
