Lesser Yellowlegs
It’s beautiful weather in Weymouth. The sun is out, birds are singing and I’m full of the joys of spring. I’m back to have a look at the Lesser Yellowlegs. It’s a beautiful bird and this light sets off its yellow legs beautifully against the reflection of the blue sky.
It’s a strange life wading in mud and eating invertebrates, but someone has to do it.
Here’s the story of my previous encounter with this American bird:
It’s a good job birds have waterproof dinosaur scales on their legs or they would look as wrinkled as I do after a bath.
