Teal Green
Teal are small, very decorative ducks. The males have chestnut and green coloured heads and strange beige bottoms:

The females are subtle and cryptically coloured but with an incredible, iridescent teal green speculum:

There are over 200,000 of them in the UK in winter but only 1 in every 100 stay here to breed.

I wonder if these will soon be off to the Baltic and Siberia for a summer of breeding? I wish them luck.
