Hi, I was doing some research on Italian Wall Lizards and found this post. Nice pictures, can you tell me where they were taken? I assume not in Westray.
There are Italian wall lizard living in Long Island, the Bronx spreading to Connecticut and Boston; also in New Jersey, Kansas and Los Angeles.

  Yes, Giovanni, the Italian Wall Lizards weren’t in Westray! They were where they belong – in Italy. They were near Putignano in Puglia in the far south of Italy. They seem to have spread in different parts of the world very successfully – in fact they are reported as a case study in rapid evolution after several different subspecies have formed in island populations. Please tell me more about your research.
