Literally

In Orkney I’m constantly delighted by how literal everyone is. Maybe it’s the Northerner in me to which it appeals. I loved finding out that the main street through Kirkwall was called the Main Street. When I saw that there was a big tree on the main street I found out that it was called the Big Tree. Yes, that’s the Big Tree on the Main Street.

Looking closer at the tree I see there’s a shop almost completely hidden by it.

It’s called The Tree Shop.
