Restoration of The Italian Chapel

Antonella Papa spent a month last year as restorer of Orkney’s Italian Chapel

Antonella says: “The Italian Chapel now is part of my life and I always want to know more about it; to know more stories about it. I did that work with love and it brought me back so much love from the people, and it was really unexpected. Every day many people came to see me, to say thank you for what I was doing, bringing presents, even asking for photographs with me. It was the most beautiful work that I have ever done for a lot of different reasons. Things made with love can bring only love

I still want to say a big “Thank you” to all the Orcadians.”
