My son introduced me to Yik Yak, an iPhone app which shows you local people’s comments wherever you are. I logged in when in Aberdeen and the (I guess) young people’s comments were:

 

It’s a great way of picking up on the culture of any place you’re in.

 
I wonder if that was the same one-night stand?

On Westray, your Herd consists of you and a duck. It’s a different life here. One which young people have to leave just to realise how good it is.
