A still evening on the water

It’s that time of the evening, when the light becomes glorious as a few stray rays of the sun hit the other side of Lake Kerkini and illuminate the bank with their orange glow.

Dalmatian Pelicans are heavy birds and make quite a splash when they come to see whether we’re good for a fish or two.

Why fish for yourself when you can survive on handouts? That’s a political issue which is still hotly debated.

Anyway, aren’t they gorgeous?
