Great White Pelicans
The Great White Pelican, Pelecanus onocrotalus, is also known as the Eastern White Pelican, the Rosy Pelican or just the White Pelican.
It’s a lover of swamps and lakes throughout southeastern Europe, Asia and Africa. Here in Greece they are not the most common species on the Lake. We get spectacularly close views.
