Landing precision

The Common Buzzard is quite a large bird, with broad, rounded wings and a short neck and tail. We’re waiting in a hide to see if one will arrive when I spot one cruising towards us. They are magnificent.

Their coordination is outstanding. Just look at this landing:

Buzzards are sociable birds. They live in family groups until their youngsters are old enough to fend for themselves and frequently call to keep in touch with their partner and their youngsters. As it perches, it calls.
