Osprey with fish

The juvenile Osprey on the River Otter last month was doing a very good job of catching a fish every morning and every evening.

I was lucky enough to see this catch, as it plunged into the lower reaches of the River Otter and retrieved the heavy fish, all splashing and flapping.

Surprisingly, a full day on your feet with a heavy camera is good exercise. I was looking forward to eating dinner as much as this Osprey was.
