The Shag and the Pouting at Brixham breakwater
There’s a Shag off Brixham breakwater. It’s popped up out of the water quite close to me. I love it when they jump up in the air and disappear head-first on a fishing trip.
This one came up with a large fish and I was thrilled to photograph it:
The fish is a Pout, a Pouting or a Pout Whiting, depending on who you ask. It’s pink with white vertical stripes:

Now, all that’s needed is to swallow it whole:
Head-first and still flapping.
