Dunsford Daffodils

This year I haven’t been able to travel onto Dartmoor to see the Daffodil display at Dunsford Wood. They grow in profusion along the River Teign.

Last time I went I took lots of quick ‘note’ photographs. This week I decided to sketch them and create a paper cut.

I created it on an iPad with an app called Procreate, sketching it with an Apple Pencil. I then cut it wirelessly using a Cricut machine and pasted the layers together using acid-free craft glue and a fine brush.

I’m pleased with the result. I particularly like the sweep of the River Teign behind the Daffodils.

I’ve just added it to my shop if you would like a beautiful symbol of spring hanging on your wall.
