Crossed mandibles

Beak deformities are quite common amongst birds. This Woodpigeon has crossed mandibles. I’d expect it to interfere with eating but it doesn’t seem to have affected it at all.

It still looks as plump as I feel in this winter coat. With -2 degrees at night, it needs all the food it can get. And so do I.
