Wrens

There is a family of Wrens flitting along the field boundary in front of us. They’re working the margins for insects and moving slowly away from us.

We catch up with them. This one still has its soft yellow gape from begging for food in the nest.

They’re hard at work foraging.

They’re one of my favourite, most heart-warming things to see.
