Portraits in beautiful light

What are the chances that a period of time when many people have to stay indoors to avoid a deadly pandemic should coincide with stunning weather?

I’ve been going out for exercise early to avoid as many people as possible. Here are a few portraits from one morning cycle and walk:

The first bird I heard on arrival was the noisy Great Spotted Woodpecker. He’s found a resonating branch and has no interest in having his portrait taken. Shame.
