Acrobats

This doesn’t look like a finely tuned athlete to me:

There’s nothing to give you the impression of suppleness or strength or agility in this tiny fluff-ball:

Yet here’s a Blue Tit using its feet to hold a peanut while perching. They do have such amazing agility:

It can’t keep its head down for too long though, due to an instinctive fear of Sparrowhawks.

Having a peanut that size, when compared to its stomach, is quite a distraction.
