Plastic Heron

We are walking around Crime Lake and its canals when I see a plastic Heron on the side of the model boat lake. It’s highly amusing someone’s put one there.

They’re normally put next to small ponds with valuable carp to keep real Herons at bay. If a plastic Heron can fool a real Heron it can certainly fool me.

Doesn’t it look lifelike?

Hold on, those feathers look a bit too lifelike.

I’m shocked to se it fly to the other side of the lake.

It was flesh and blood after all.
