Fresh bedding

This Squirrel has a message to all dog owners at my local country park. It’s a polite request to keep dogs on a lead around the lake, where the nesting birds are. Many still ignore it.

Some Squirrels have been killed in dog attacks here recently.

This one is being careful that he’s not next:

Carrying things is difficult when you need all four legs to walk, run and climb.

This Squirrel is busy stuffing as much dried grass as possible across its mouth before it makes a hopping run for it:
