Is what it says still true?

The Nuthatch is a plump, little bird, shaped rather like a Woodpecker, with a very short tail and long pointed beak. It likes woodlands and parks with plenty of old trees, but is quite common in gardens too.

If you hear a lovely, cheery whistle in your garden, it is probably made by a Nuthatch.
