Shopping for a Shop
I’ve run out of milk so I’m off to Peter Miller’s Shop in Skelwick by bicycle with rucksack. It’s in such a stunning spot, just next to a beautiful bay, and looking across the water I can see Bill Bryson’s favourite place in the UK, the island of Papa Westray. Amazingly the shop is for sale, with a three bedroom house, the business with off license and the inevitable range of useful outbuildings.
