If Nuthatches had a decade and musical style, what would it be?

Might they be New Romantics from the 1980s. Is there a touch of Depeche Mode or Spandau Ballet about them? A bit of Duran Duran or Visage?

Or maybe they would be into late 1980’s Vogue? They’re very adept at head-down climbing. Amazingly, they also only move in jumps, even when they’re on vertical surfaces. They’re certainly great dancers.

They’re like nothing else we see in the UK because their relatives came from Asia, where other Nuthatch species live, in Thailand, Burma and Sumatra.

They’re successful and exotic and I’m delighted they’re here.
