Puffincoming!

Looking back at some of this summer’s Puffin photographs I find a sequence I really enjoy which I haven’t developed. How entertaining is this bird?

This one is adding its paddle-like feet to the stiff spread tail to attempt to brake without stalling:

I enjoy playing with the camera’s shutter speed as I much prefer a little movement in the wings, with a blur suggesting the real-life frantic beating of their wings.

And their acrobatics are worthy of a circus.
