Hooded Crows at Villa Pamphilj

We’re at the park in Rome and there are Hooded Crows galore here.

It’s fabulous light, though a little late in the day. The sun is slightly too high to illuminate their breast feathers in flight.

They sit and croak on the railings around the pond and wait for food from the park visitors:
