Rotivator claws

Of all the birds you might guess would sit on a wire, I suspect the Heron would be near the bottom of your list.

Yet here one is. On a wire. 

I’m struck by just how much its claws look like rotavators. If its beak doesn’t do you some serious damage, I suspect those feet would.
