Doormoth

There’s a moth on my doormat. I’m not sure whether it’s been wiping all six of its feet or not.

Looking closely it appears to be a Lesser Yellow Underwing. I move my phone closer to take a photo of it and it flashes its yellow hind-wings at me. Yes, definitely a Yellow Underwing.

Today is Day 29 of #30DaysWild and I’ve enjoyed getting out and having some experiences of the natural world all month. Today it was raining and thankfully I didn’t have to go beyond my own doormat to find one.
