Whitethroat

I was delighted to spot this delightful male Whitethroat.

It’s another fascinating migratory warbler which has spent our winter in Africa, south of the Sahara and has come back to the UK to breed.

We’re in a tower hide on the Shapwick Heath National Nature Reserve. It gives us a fabulous view of the bird life below. This male certainly has an attitude and a stance to suit it.
