Early blue light

I usually have no idea what the dawn is like. I’m sure that if you looked at the number of photographs I have tagged with ‘Sunset‘ you would find many more than are tagged with ‘Sunrise‘. Getting out of bed ‘in the middle of the night’ when it’s still dark is not my strongpoint. Here, then, is something of a rarity for me; a photograph at dawn in beautiful weak blue light.

Westray is so beautiful at this time of day. Maybe I should try harder to get up so early; but then again, maybe not.
