Dandy Lions – forty years ago in my nature notebooks
Forty years ago I was twelve years old and had been using a Single Lens Reflex camera for a couple of years. I’d bought it for £6 from my neighbour Ron. It was a 1963 Russian Zenit 3M camera which was entirely manual, with no electronics and no light meter and yet enabled me to take some wonderful photographs. Forty years later and here I am in the back garden of Einar with my iPhone taking photos of a Dandelion.
They are such beautiful flowers.
