Some Enchanted Evening

In the musical South Pacific, Emile sings ‘Some Enchanted Evening’ where he describes seeing a stranger, knowing that you will see her again, and dreaming of her laughter. He sings that when you find your “true love”, you must “fly to her side, / And make her your own”. That’s exactly what the Puffins appeared to be singing this evening.

Maybe I should write a musical called North Atlantic. Featuring Puffins. But then again, maybe not.

Some enchanted evening
When you find your true love,
When you feel her call you
Across a crowded room,
Then fly to her side,
And make her your own
Or all through your life you
May dream all alone.
