Just a taste of Balfour Castle

An island three miles wide by six long with a population of 300 people which has a huge exclusive-use castle on a 1,000 acre estate with 30 acres of woodland.

It must be Shapinsay and Balfour Castle. I’m told exclusive use of Balfour Castle and all its facilities for up to 18 guests costs from £3,400 per night, plus £120 per person for breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner. That’s not my dream though. My dream is to go for just one tasting-menu dinner there. That would be enough.
