Mice nibble… #2



Just when I was thinking I’d like to get my cold feet into some snug slippers in this Orkney Summer I notice the inevitable; the mice have been at the Dunlops. In superstitious centuries mice nibbling on your slippers would have been seen as a bad omen, but Cato had a (paraphrased) saying about that: Mice nibbling on your slippers isn’t an omen, but it certainly would be if it was your slippers nibbling on the mice!
