Will you still love me when I’m grey?

The wind whistles on Westray today and clouds shroud the hills as I hear the wind saying “Will you still love me when I’m grey?” Summer visitors here can be very lucky with bright sunshine, blue skies and temperatures only ten degrees lower than at home. Westray is an easy place to love then, when it’s a holiday and it’s not forever. It’s the grey days you have to experience to know whether you love this place.

“Will you still love me when I’m grey?…” the wind asks and then adds, “Because I already am…”
